Quality and Control
Quality control is essential to building a successful business that delivers products that meet or exceed our customers’ expectations.
At Cemfloor our main goal is to provide a consistent, high-quality product every time it is installed. Rigorous testing is carried out at each stage of the production process to ensure that Cemfloor satisfies the needs of our customers and end users. We are strongly committed to providing solutions for our customers based on their specific needs and applications.
Cemfloor is only produced in mixing plants which have obtained ISO 9001 accreditation. All Cemfloor screed material and floor screeds are produced in accordance with BS EN 13813:2002.
To ensure a consistent high quality, Cemfloor screed mixes are designed for each of our distributors utilising the local materials which are available to them.
The following screed testing is carried out on each Cemfloor screed mix design to ensure compliance with BS EN 13813.
- Flowability
- Compressive Strength
- Flexural Strength
- Drying Shrinkage
After initial testing of the screed in our laboratory, a full-scale trial is carried out at the distributors mixing plant to ensure our Cemfloor screed is produced correctly
To further guarantee the quality of Cemfloor, we carry out training programs with all of our applicators to ensure the screed is installed correctly. Cemfloor screeds can only be installed by applicators whom have completed our training program and are registered AA approved Cemfloor installers.
We constantly strive to improve existing products as well as to design new concepts. This is achieved through close cooperation with customers and experts.
To ensure Cemfloors compatibility with other building products, various testing programs have been undertaken in partnership with manufacturers of tile adhesives, carpet adhesives, timber adhesives, DPM’s, Resins, vinyl, and various other flooring products all of which can be used successfully with Cemfloor.
